Cookies policy
Last updated: 28/07/2026
This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies we use on https://sarean.es and on the Sarean platform, what they are used for and how you can manage them. It is published in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device when you visit it. It allows the website to remember information about your visit—such as your preferences, logged-in session and browsing behaviour—and recognise you on subsequent visits. Other technologies, including browser local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), tracking pixels and device identifiers, are subject to the same legal framework.
2. Cookies We Use
2.1. Technical or Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the website and platform to function. They do not require your consent.

2.2. Cookie-Free Analytics
To measure use of the website, we use Plausible Analytics, a web analytics tool that does not install cookies or store information on your device and hosts its data on servers located in the European Union.
Plausible does not create persistent identifiers or user profiles, track browsing activity across different websites, or share data with third parties for advertising purposes. The metrics we receive are aggregated and include the number of visits, most viewed pages, traffic sources, device type and country.
Because no information is stored on or accessed from your device, this measurement falls outside the scope of Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE and does not require your prior consent. The legal basis for the processing is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the performance of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
2.3. Advertising and Tracking Cookies
We do not use advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Consent
Because we only use strictly necessary technical cookies and a cookie-free analytics solution, we do not need to display a consent banner. If we introduce cookies that require consent in the future, we will ask for your consent in advance and you will be able to reject them as easily as you can accept them.
4. Managing Cookies Through Your Browser
You can also allow, block or delete cookies stored on your device through your browser settings:
Please note that blocking technical cookies may prevent certain features of the website and platform from functioning correctly.
5. International Data Transfers
None of the technologies described in this policy involves the transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area. Further information about the providers involved in our other processing activities is available in our Privacy Policy.
6. Updates
We may update this policy when we introduce new cookies or make changes to existing ones. Please review this page periodically to ensure that you are aware of the current version.
